Maddox is the first collector’s club model I’ve ever bought, despite being in the club for three years now. He is one of the more expensive models I own due to that, but I’m a sucker for dappled greys, so he was the main reason I subscribed to collector’s club again this past year.
He’s also a VERY large model scale-wise. He’s such a loooooooong horse with a looooooooong stride that about the only place he fits is on my mantle. Thankfully, he’s attractive enough that I’m happy to put him there, too.
He does also have that spiffy 75 year anniversary stamp on his belly, which was unexpected and cool!
That being said, while I really do like this mold, it takes up so much space that I can’t see myself picking up another model that uses it. There really is such a thing as too much of a great thing, and Maddox is it. Love him. Just don’t love how big he is!
