Let the Good Times Roll was one of the models I picked up from the 2025 Breyerfest. I didn’t have a whole lot of options being an online participant, but he was one of my top picks, so I was happy to have scored him.
Maybe I should stop saying how I don’t tend to collect glossy models, because every time I get a glossy model, I note this. But for this model, his coat was such a standout, and I do like a good buckskin – an appy even more – so I knew he was one I wanted to add to my herd, glossy or not.
There was a split variation of him that was non-glossy, but it had a braided mane. I’m far more into the loose mane, so I’ll take the gloss plus flowing mane any day. Happy that this was the variation I ended up getting!
I don’t tend to collect on this mold because I try to avoid molds that have stands, especially as large as this, but I do have one of the holiday horses on this mold, as well. Almost enough for a tiny conga, but I’ll probably not try for one! That being said, I do like the motion and pose of this model quite a bit!
