Today’s encounter was just… ouch!

Two hags attack Tsavani with magics that “cause great mental anguish.” In fact, I have to make rolls to ensure that she isn’t terrified and fumbles her attacks at the start of the fight. Thankfully, she has a little bonus in Wisdom that helps out, and she was able to overcome the fear for both hags.

Unfortunately, she missed the attack against the first hag and that took a wopping 6 out of her health, leaving her with only 2 health. I was a little anxious at that because if I didn’t roll well on the second attack, I would have to be looking up what happens when a character hits zero real fast.

Thankfully, my rolls turned out super strong on the second hag, and Tsavani was able to strike it down with the top damage roll possible! This earned her a gold piece and a win for the fight. But now she’s down to just two health. Ouch.
