It appears Tsavani is not avoiding this fight. The +2 bonus she earned yesterday was a huge help in my rolls today. She managed to stun the Naga Queen every round and kill her for an earnings of 4 gold. 

Sadly, when it came to retrieving the gate shard, Tsavani didn't have as much luck. Not only did the magic of the shard effect her, I wasn't able to roll high enough to prevent her from getting cursed. However! Monks have a Chi: Harmony skill that allowed me to remove the cursed condition for one Chi point. 

And that was that!
