After going through the portal, Tsavani ends up somewhere that seems like the afterlife. She's surrounded by light forms that want to bum a couple of gold from her to pay the ferryman's toll. Why does a ferryman in the land of the dead need actual gold? She did give it to one of the more aggressive spirits, and now has maxxed out her virtue. 

I wonder if virtue's going to play a part later.
