I chose for Tsavani to go through the southern route - I wasn't sure if the forest would be dangerous or provide shelter. It appears either path you took was about the same on this one, though. I had a somewhat low roll, and even with all my travel bonuses, Tsavani still had to eat 4 meal rations. I think that's the most she's ever had to eat. This journey was no joke!
