One of the scientists wanted an escort to the friend they sought to visit. Today's journey wasn't too difficult - Zarylla decided to take the direct route across the chasm. It turned out to be not all that difficult to pass across and ended up being a time saver. Only one meal ration was needed for this travel and nothing dangerous popped up, thankfully.
