Wren Talk: Social Media Platform Pruning

I'd like to make an effort to start posting short-form bits n pieces here. Basically, what I think is fitting for a micro blog! I don't know how successful I'll be with keeping at it, but here's a start.
I've been thinking long and hard about cutting down the amount of social media platforms I use. I've already been doing this, mostly in leaving Twitter behind in preference for Mastodon. But there's other things I'm working through in order to shed some of that social media weight from my shoulders (you often don't realize it's there until you take a good look at it)!
Social Media I'm Keeping for Sure: - Main Mastodon - Amon's Tumblr - This Micro.blog
Social Media I've Already Somewhat Set Aside: - Pillowfort (Two accounts - I feel like I'd rather support Micro.blog with my sub - long story on this) - Tumblr (Several accounts, too many accounts) - Instagram (Kinda been moving away, would rather use Pixelfed)
Social Media I'm Struggling to Leave Behind: - Amon's Twitter (I wish I could cut ties with Twitter, but it's hard when he has such a solid following) - Amon's Mastodon (I keep going back and forth on having a second account there. I like having it, but then I'd really like to stay consolidated instead of spreading myself too thin again.)
I've already decided that I'm going to stop using Twitter for Wayrift update announcements, too. Twitter just doesn't have any reach and is not worth the time to post it. I get more interaction for the same posts on Mastodon!
