I think going head-to-head with a Planet Eater is a fantastic idea (not at all). They do pretty well, however, especially seeing that the creature had some really hard rounds. It helped to have bonuses to aim and evasion from the day before.
They manage to strike it three out of four rounds and the ship only took 2 damage overall. Not bad given what it was. They were also able to stop it for the time being. Likely, it wouldn’t be long before it would be heading for the planet, though.
