The planet-eater runs tentacles first into the shield. The ships continue to blast away at it as it attempts to break through. This was another round of high requirement shots – I’m quite glad I upgraded the ship’s cannons.
The crew was able to score a hit three out of four times, but the ship took 2 points in damage for the one time they missed. This was enough to take the planet-eater's attention off the shield and on to the ships.
