The crew gets an incoming message from the Admiral himself! He claims all that he’s doing is for the protection of the galaxy and that Maddax and his mother are huge threats to all life. He doesn’t want to kill them, rather, he wants them confined and studied.
He claims he took the captain hostage in order to exchange for Maddax. He also arranged a warp gate with a special code to enter, though Zarylla has no idea where the gate will lead.
She does give the code to the council to see if they can decode it and figure out anything else about it. Otherwise, the page itself warns that this will be the final mission, and that Zarylla needs to stock up at the stores (over the next few pages) for all the equipment she might need to face this challenge.
This is the first time the calendar has given a warning like this, so I’m going to take it seriously!
