Ouch. Without my normal stat bonuses, this was a painful page. I even had to use a Time Step for a second attempt to roll, and still didn’t get a great outcome either time.
So, the crew gets antsy as they’re taking before the Commander and Admiral, though Zarylla is able to convince them to chill enough that she doesn’t look weak before the enemy. She then demands to see Captain Cayliss, but all this rewards her with is a blow to the back of the head, and the loss of 1 health.
I did have the option to try to attack, but that sounded like a dumb move given Zarylla’s reduced stats and how poorly my rolls were already going (not to mention the high numbers you have to roll to get a good outcome).
