They flew a little too close to the sun, and now they need to detach the Fang (which is sorta like a sub-ship they use on the ground) to lighten the weight and get the rest of the ship out of there.
The first deed of the day is to enter the administrative code. However, this is a math puzzle, and I’ve resolved to skip those in these calendars, given how poorly I do at them. If Zarylla was to guess right, she would only get a +3 to future rolls on the page, and wrong would be a -3 on rolls. Since I opted out of the puzzle, I took neither.
It didn’t matter, though, as she was able to decouple the manual lock with ease – again, thanks to her DEX and the +2 bonus from the previous page. This successfully disengages the Fang and gives the Karnack a chance to get out of there.
