Today was a day of menial tasks so that Tak can “prove himself.” Sadly, my rolls were so poor on the first two that the only thing he proved himself to be was underwhelming.
He patrolled the perimeter, but not being familiar with the area, Tak didn’t find anything of importance to note. He was then sent to clean up the training grounds (how did they let this get to be in such a state to begin with?), but it was too much of a job for just one squirrel, and he didn’t leave it much better than he found it.
Maybe getting scolded for poor performance was a motivator, because I rolled high on his task of hauling supplies, so even with a -2 penalty, he completed this one with flying colors and even ahead of the time frame given.
Well, I’m not sure if this is a good start or not.
