Ouch, this was a painful page for a first fight. They’re doing something a little different with the defense roll – if I remember correctly, if you successfully rolled for defense, you took no damage at all. This time around, even a successful defense roll means some damage is taken.
Anyhow, Tak fights the insects, but only kills one. The other two take him down 2 HP in the meantime, and he earns one amber. Too bad he couldn’t kill more, because rolling for the number of amber you get from doing so is also new to this calendar.
