Quill stumbles upon a merchant cart being attacked by insects. She decides to take a defensive approach, using the terrain and natural objects as cover while she positions herself to help.
This gives her a +1 to defense rolls tomorrow. I generally tend to hope there isn’t a defense roll during a fight, but this seemed the most likely scenario to get some kind of bonus for the fight tomorrow, given her natural stats.
