First of all, the merchant turns out to be a bird – it just feels odd that a bird can’t defend against insects. I get that they’re large insects, and it seems like all animals are on the same level in this environment, but it’s just weird.
Anyhow, did anyone actually rob the poor merchant? It’s an interesting option, but it seems out of Quill’s personality to do so.
In my case, Quill was able to help repair the cart just enough to get it back to the city. However, having no meal rations, there’s nothing she can offer the merchant in way of supplies. The going is rough as the merchant is still quite upset about the attack.
Overall, Quill earns a Combat Tonic and 4 amber for her efforts.
