This week’s new hero is Sil.
Sil was the guard who was turned away at Cora’s door a few weeks back. This is Sil’s first day, and she was instructed to inform the princess of the queen’s orders, but not to directly intervein. Sil’s commander, Captain Clawthorn already had an idea that Cora was going to sneak out again, and Sil’s directive was to observe and see how the princess was getting out of her room.
Sil does this successfully, determining that Cora is escaping from the window, even though it seems an unlikely feat. However, on Sil’s way to report back to Captain Clawthorn, she gets a little turned around in navigating the castle (it is her first day), and she didn’t get there quite as timely as she should have.
