Instead of taking the information back to the castle, Cora decides to explore the tunnels. Turns out, they’re a lot bigger than she expected.
Surprisingly, Cora also knows more about tunneling than expected, and earned a “tunneling knowledge” bonus for this page. She identifies vent tunnels, is able to clear out some of a tunnel collapse and discovered an are that is used for storing mining equipment. Searching that, she finds 3 amber.
Further in the tunnel, she runs across an insect who quickly attacks her. While she was able to hit him with her own attack, her damage wasn’t enough to take him down, and she sustained 1 point of damage in return.
Eventually, she discovers a place that seems like a location that would be good to search thoroughly.
