The king attacks Cora!
This is one of those ongoing boss battle types that I usually enjoy where you keep fighting the enemy until you take it down. In this case, it took about 5 rounds to defeat Wraithex, but due to really good defense rolls, Cora only walked away with 1 HP of damage.
She had yesterday’s +2 to damage rolls plus I used her Flurry of Daggers skill to pump out an additional d6 of damage to each strike. All that together made short work of the king. A good roll on the reward and she also netted 10 amber.
The king isn’t dead, however, and slinks off into the shadows.
