Cora spends some time visiting the city.
The very first thing she does is buy 14 meal rations, so she has 15 on hand. At 1 amber a piece, this is well worth it, and I would have bought more if I’d had more amber. You can never have too many meal rations!
She then visits a monument dedicated to forest guardians, but the uniformed tour guide doesn’t seem to know the names of them. Cora herself can only remember one, so she’s not all that much better.
Cora gets pulled into a street act where a shady magician recruits her as a “volunteer” to escape the chains of one of his feats. She deftly does this without any trouble, much to the magician’s surprise, and the crowd tips her 2 amber for the show.
