Cora stops by the tavern to take a break.
She decides to play a couple rounds of Recruits, and actually wins twice, which nets her 3 more amber than when she arrived. However, a patron gets upset with her paltry winning streak and starts to make a fuss about it! Cora goes into charisma-mode, and is quickly able to talk her way out of it, making him stand down.
She then goes to listen to the rumors in the tavern. Folks are noticing a change in the trees around the city, and having pointed Cora out as someone having come and left the castle, ask her if she has any information on this. Not wanting to cause concern, she declines to respond, but this only seems to further the concern.
