It’s not Frostmelt anymore. In fact, an out of season blizzard has struck up. No doubt, this has to do with what happened to the Tree of Seasons.
Cora finds herself and others stuck in the storm. She attempts to help a mother and child get home, but it’s a struggle, and they only manage to find shelter at a local merchant who is letting folks in. Cora was chilled to the bone during this attempt, and loses 1 HP.
She then tries to help the shop owner close up the store, which she is able to do. He gives her a Health Potion for the assistance.
Cora still must reach the castle to report to the council, however, so it’s back into the storm she goes. Though she’s able to navigate for the most part, she’s forced to take shelter to survive. There’s no way to reach the castle through the streets. But she does find a way down into the sewers below. That’s better than what’s above, I suppose.
