When trying to leave the city, there’s a rabble at the gates.
Other people are also trying to leave, but the guards aren’t letting anyone out. I admit, this had me puzzled as Cora was lumped in with the rest of them. Despite being on a royal mission to fix the situation. This really… doesn’t make sense.
I know that there’s a vow of secrecy, but did the queen not at least let her guards know to assist Cora (who is also the princess, and would be known by the guards) in any way? Why in the world would they be holding her back from leaving the city?
Yeah, I know… writer’s logic. But this page just doesn’t jive with me.
Anyhow, Cora just charmed her way through it, no problem.
