This was pretty much what I theorized – that Eldrus was the creature attacking in the forest.
The moment I saw Cora found one of the missing travellers in the cage there, I had an idea this was where it was going. I admit, though, it’s a little weird that he knows what your quest is, what it means to do, gives you all the information to set you out, then decides you’re lunch.
Okay. Well. That being said, I had an extremely good streak of rolls on this page for once. It took Cora two rounds to make Eldrus back off, mostly because she activated Keen Edge from a Nat 20 attack roll. She didn’t take any damage from the fight, either, which I didn’t expect given his attack was quite high. I know it’s not the end of this fight, however!
