I proposed that clipping the hatchlings would lead to more anger in Eldrus, and I was right.
The owl burst out of nowhere, absolutely enraged at Cora. Bracing for the attack, she consumed a brawnberry, which gave her a bonus to her strength roll to appear threatening towards the owl. Kinda funny to consider it. She was successful in causing Eldrus to hesitate just enough, but still took 1 HP damage.
Thankfully, the daylight deters further attack. But I’m sure that’s not the last Cora will see of the owl.
