Cora finds herself stuck in quicksand!
All of her bonuses worked in favor of her today – she was able to react quickly enough to only need 4 successes to get out of the quicksand. She reached for the branch (though she may as well have reached for the sword because she didn’t need the +2 bonus of the branch, but oh well).
She then called for help from a nearby swamp beetle. Her charisma bonus and her bug tamer skill was good enough, along with my decent rolls, to get her out in just 4 tries. She also has the Regal Influence skill in her back pocket, which could have allowed me to re-roll one of these charisma checks, but I didn’t need it in the end.
Cora was able to safely escape, likely a bit dirty, but without any harm.
I also noticed the backpack icon on this page, and rolled to get a Nimblecap as extra treasure.
