The guard at the gates of Mudbrook bars the way when Cora finally arrives.
She has to prove she’s more than just someone looking for a handout. She tries to convince the guard, and this should have worked swimmingly, but my roll was awful. Even using Regal Influence, my second roll wasn’t much better, so that earned her a middling result. She still had to pay 5 amber to get inside.
