It’s time for Cora to explore the city and see what information she can find.
She bypassed staying at the inn because she’s only down 1 HP and doesn’t really need to refill on anything. So, saving some money!
She offers a beggar a meal ration, and earns 1 point of virtue. She also purchases a treasure map, which turns out to be a fake. But for some reason, I’m supposed to note the fact that she bought a “fake map” – so I wonder what that will be about.
Cora doesn’t have any useful advice to give the gardener who needs help with dying plants. Things don’t look good there with the drought going on.
She does work her charisma with a group of chatty townsfolk. There, a fox offers to guide her to the source of a spring, which might be the source of the blocked water. Worth a look!
