Cora discovers a deeper shaft hidden under where the water is draining, and goes down to explore.
I had excellent rolls today, so things turned out for the best during her investigations!
She took note of how nicely the main tunnel had been crafted, almost as if by drills or some machinery. She found a satchel with 2 amber from this part of the investigation.
When coming across a working insect, Cora was able to successfully sneak up and make an attack. Because the insect was unaware of her approach, it was much easier for her to defeat without taking damage.
Cora stumbled across a cavern with noxious gas and was able to follow a draft to get out of the area quickly, before taking any damage. She also was able to skirt her way through a very dark cavern by following shifting air current, where she found a Warding Ointment.
She finally came to the end of the mains shaft, which appears to be blocked by something.
