Cora finally meets a guardian who takes the time to explain exactly why the guardians are doing what they’re doing. We needed this long ago, to be honest!
It appears the guardians are simply trying to test Cora's mettle to see if she's worthy of being a protector of Wrenwood. Well, that's simple enough!
Also, why is it that all of the riddle answers in this calendar rhyme with the last word in each line of the riddle itself? Not that I’m complaining, but it makes the answer pretty easy. This gave her a +2 bonus to wisdom rolls tomorrow.
Cora, of course, chose the to ready herself in stealth (though I’m not sure how she could do that since she’s already been seen). Sadly, my roll wasn’t as good as I’d have liked it to be, so even with all of her bonuses, she only earned a +1 damage modifier for tomorrow, which I’m sure will be the battle.
