Things go from bad to worse as Wraithex is not able to control the power he sought to consume!
He thrashes about in agony as the energy fills him, mutating every inch of his body. In the middle of his thrashing, he sends the queen flying over the edge of the balcony.
Cora is able to avoid the insect’s pained flails, and as she has kept her focus on her mother, the queen, rushes to try to save her. Even with all her speed, Cora can’t reach her in time, and takes a leap of faith off the balcony, following the queen’s descent.
