The mood is somber around town as people mourn their losses and hope for the queen’s recovery.
Cora catches a young pickpocket who is making rounds among the crowd, but lets them off with a warning. This gives her an additional virtue point.
She also takes a long moment to try to read the crowd and determine the overall feeling of the people. She’s able to do this well – catching their mingling sorrow, determination and uncertainty.
Using what she does best – her persuasion abilities – she’s able to address the crowd and lift their spirits substantially. They gift her two meal rations and a health potion, but the feeling of determined unity is the best outcome of it all.
