Rampaging monsters burst into the town!
As soon as I saw the art and noticed they were warthogs (like the guy who went missing on the pages before), I had a pretty good idea where this was going. Cora put up a fight, but they were pretty tough. She managed to defeat two of the four, but ended up taking 5 HP of damage from the battle.
Once the fight was over, one of the monsters transforms into the guy who went missing on a previous page. No doubt, this was him and his friends that vanished without a trace. Seems like critters are becoming monsters now, for some unknown reason.
