Cora returns to find the situation not so good in the castle.
The queen has still not recovered, despite the best efforts to heal her. The guard are hard pressed to protect the people with the feral transformations going on. And Master Laurel and Captain Flint seem to be at odds on how to move forward.
I’m still feeling a little suspicious here. Both of their faces in this page’s picture seem a little iffy.
However, Cora backs the idea with her hard-earned amber to keep the troops out for battle in case the insects try something again. Something just doesn’t seem right, though.
It did take all of her virtue and amber bonuses to convince Master Laurel of the plan, but the troops remain battle-ready.
