Master Laurel strikes out at Cora!
His stats are pretty high, so I had to dig into Cora’s bag of tricks for this fight. She took him out in 4 rounds – the first round being a “miss” round for her, and one where she ended up getting weakness. However, I tossed Wall of Knives up on her, which gave her an extra D6 in defense, so that helped keep her out of harm’s way – her defense is pretty high already, but she lost no HP to this fight.
She did have to use Hidden Blade once for a better attack roll. She also triggered Keen Edge at the very end, which is what really put out the damage to put Master Laurel in his place. I completely forgot about the free damage rolls I could have been taking, though. Oops.
Anyhow, she took him down and got away without a scratch!
