Cora finally reaches Timber Landing, a busy community and military outpost.
She doesn’t need to take a rest, though there is an inn there, nor does she really need to shop for any supplies. I hope I won’t regret it later, but she does have quite a stack of things.
In looking for the captain of the outpost, Cora does her good deeds for the day. She saves a child who fell into water, but could not swim – and is rewarded 1 amber for it. She also shares a meal ration with a poor starving mouse who needs a meal, and earns a virtue point for it.
Eventually, Cora does find the Beaver captain.
