Wraithex focuses his full attack on Cora as the fight rages on.
The troops from Saberhold appear, adding numbers to Cora’s side. Cora goes head-to-head with the insect king, and is able to take him down in 4 rounds of battle. She ended up taking 8 HP of damage from the battle, however.
After this round of battle, Cora is able to claim the staff that Wraithex was using, which contains the Seed of Life. Energy from the staff flows through Cora, healing her for quite a bit. Then, she hears the voice of Master Laurel through the staff, somehow.
He thanks Cora for having mercy on him when she didn’t need to, and he works to cleanse the Seed of Life from Wraithex’s magic. He tells Cora to keep the staff away from Wraithex, and it then heals Cora for a little bit more, taking her back up to full life.
She also earns 3 amber from the successful battle.
