The rapids empty out in the waterfall that Cora explored earlier, and she needs to think fast!
As the little makeshift raft moves towards the edge of the waterfall, Cora is able to quickly ready her leaf-riding gear (which she apparently keeps on hand). She’s able to launch from the raft as it topples over the edge, and glide down to safety.
