Wraithex and Cora go head-to-head in a final showdown!
Thank goodness Cora has a strong DEX bonus – the DEX check was never an issue for her at all. That being said, I’m not sure how many rounds I went with Wraithex this time – lost count. Usually, it was her attack roll that was rubbish, though I did use Hidden Blade a few times to improve that. Defense rolls were very good, and she managed to get one double damage hit. She only took 3 HP of damage from the fight, and earned 12 amber.
Cora finally delivers a powerful attack which sends Wraithex reeling back into a column of lava. This melts his exoskeleton and sends the insect monarch into the lava. It’s always the lava.
