Tamagotchi Pix – Day 5

Apologies that I’ve taken so long to update this log. A lot has happened, and I’ve continued to really enjoy caring for my Tama.

On day 3, I spent time learning about and using the Pix’s playdate feature. Some folks on the Tamagotchi Reddit have left their QR codes, and I scanned pretty much every one I could find, inviting other Tamas over left and right!

I also learned you can create a greeting for your Tama from doing this, like from this awesome Tama caretaker!

I had to search around to find where that was done (under profile, I think), but I finally created one for myself. I also shared my QR code on the Reddit for people to playdate with my Tama. However, you don’t actually see it happening, so I’m not sure if anyone did.

The next exciting thing that happened was that my Tama grew to adulthood!

Look at that fine fellow!

Apparently, this was based on the color egg I got from the start, plus how well I cared for the Tama. This is the best outcome (least care mistakes) Tama to get, so says the wiki.

Now that he’s an adult, he doesn’t fancy the plain bagel from the fridge much anymore. So, I’ve learned how to cook, which is pretty neat. Unlike Punirunes, it doesn’t cost money for the food you can make through cooking, which is something that I really like.

I also learned that his sketchbook is a huge favorite activity to do! He’s a bit like his caretaker!

Yesterday, I had a package arrive for my Pix! I wanted to get a screen protector for it, but it’s somewhat hard to find accessories for the Pix at this stage of development. I could only find a screen protector as part of a kit of case and carry case. It was pretty cute, so though it was more than what I wanted, I picked it up.

So now my Pix is well-protected both front and back in a little cat case, which has a slot for the camera and everything.

I’m still discovering new things with my Tama, such as there’s an “outside” area in the front of the house. Here, the Tama waters the apple trees and can just hang out when the weather is good. He even asks to go and play outside specifically – which is how I found out about it.

Today I needed to leave him unattended for a while and called over the Sitter to look after him. Quite a good feature! And when I returned from my errands a few hours later, he was as happy as a clam. Or… rather, a Tama, I suppose!
