FFXIV: Adventures in Re-Rolling

So after my previous posts about Zuri, Jettschae invited me to a different server to hook up with their FC. So, that’s what I did – re-rolled on the Midgardsormr server. I’ll probably roll an alt on Gilgamesh, but for now, I want to play where I know a few folks. :)
I so love the fact you can save your character’s appearance files. Makes it so easy to re-roll a character, as I have several times. So, starting out again, I decided to take better screens of my progress. Here’s my first shot of my new moon kitty.
Doing my quest line was pretty quick this time. I really started to learn how to use the transportation crystals to move across the town now. So, I jumped in to doing my CNJ quests.
Got a nice shot of running through Gridania at sunset. :)
Levels came pretty quickly and I finally got out of my Miqo'te outfit into a scruffy mage uniform. Which is okay with me.
Ran across the unexpected “Leader of the Pack” Fate when I was just finishing up the painful anole quest. This turned out to be a really exciting battle, with two of us working together at the start, and a number of people moving in to help as we got the boss down. Started to feel like a real healer here!
I reached level 10 and unlocked job switching and my Inn room. I like how she sits on the edge of the bed.
Purchased my first rental Chocobo!
And now I’m back out at the East Shroud working up my levels. I’ve almost caught up to where I was before – it really didn’t take very long to get back to level 11-12 ish. I’m actually doing a lot better this time around gil-wise, too. Hopefully I can hook up with some folks over the weekend! :)
