FFXIV: Update on Zuri’s Adventures

It’s been a while since I’ve posted about my progress in FFXIV, so here it is. I didn’t have much time to play last week, so I wanted to make some headway this week.
I leveled her to 25 by playing through the main storyline. I took a pause last night when I came to yet another dungeon. I’m still wearing the armor I picked up in the last few dungeons I ran, some of them running between level 15-17. Most of it is almost equal to the white/crafted stuff I’ve seen, though, so it’s not as terrible as it sounds.
I decided to spend some time learning about crafting, so began working up Botany and Weaving, thinking maybe I can craft some armor eventually. It’s been pretty fun so far, though Botany seems to have the potential to be grindy.
I had some extra time tonight, so I decided to queue up for Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak just to give it a try. Had to wait about 10 mins or so, but got matched up with a really good group – I’m having a lot of luck with the Duty Finder, from what I’ve heard of others’ experiences.
Got that done and got a good upgrade of chest armor as a drop. Now I can move along with my storyline again. It was a good night. :)
