FFXIV: March Goals

Welcome March!

I’ve been seeing other bloggers setting game goals for themselves across various MMOs. Last month was the first time I actually tried this for myself, and I was really pleased with the overall outcome.

Since that worked so well for me, and I got a lot done last month, I’m going to try setting more goals again.

End Game Stuff

  • Complete the second-stage relic for Bard (I bought the Eso weapon and upgraded it. I’ll finish the quest when I finish it.)
  • Level Dragoon to 55 ✓

  • Level Leatherworker to 60 ✓
  • Meld end game leather crafting gear with materia ✓
  • Level Carpenter to 60 ✓
  • Meld end game crafting accessories with materia ✓
  • Get Master III Leatherworker book ✓
  • Craft better gathering gear
  • Gather for Red Scrips

Leveling Stuff

  • Level all remaining jobs to 30
    • Paladin
    • Warrior
    • Ninja
  • Level Machinist to 50
  • Level Monk to 50 ✓
  • Clean up old quests ✓

  1. Those look like some solid goals! I love setting goals for myself. It really does help me organize my time so I spend a little bit more time focusing, and less flailing around going, “I’M BORED!”.

    1. Yes, your goals really inspired me to organize my thoughts on what I want to get done. This is especially helpful since I divide things up between two characters, which starts to get me all confuzzled! It’s less stressful to me to make a checklist and stick with it, rather than get sidetracked by random things!

  2. Yes, goals are good!

I thought you’d given up on Bard? Is it worth continuing to pursue the relic weapon if you aren’t going to use it? Especially if you end up enjoying Monk at 60 as much as you do now.

I’ll be back in game this week! Just in time for you to disappear in BDO, haha.

    1. I promised a FC friend that I’d work through the dungeons with him as he did his relic. I have a number of those dungeons finished already, so I may as well complete it, even if it is on Bard. There’s honestly no reason to do it now that the Eso weapons (which are better when upgraded) are much easier to get, but I still will as long as he wants to complete it. 🙂

I won’t disappear too far into BDO, though I’m very curious about it. I still have a lot I want to do in FFXIV!
