Decimating My May Goals
Above: Our Quarrymill FATE party including Xaa, Vix and Zuri.
I usually don’t write an update about goals this early in the month. But I’m really stoked that it’s only halfway through May and I’ve not only completed most of my May goals, but I’ve gone beyond what I set out to do. And I’m feeling really good about this.
Granted, most of my goals were small – earn a few levels in low level FFXIV classes, for example. But some, like finishing LoZ: A Link Between Worlds, was much bigger and unexpected. A number of these goals were things I had on lists over and over from the months before, but kept not finishing them (such as Level 50 Machinist).
Our Zombie Hunting troop, now turned FATE runners, have been having a good time leveling various classes in FFXIV. I’ve taken this as an opportunity to get every class to 20 on Zuri and clean up a lot of that old armor from my inventory space. Eventually, I know I’ll set a goal to raise everything to at least 30, but I’m happy with what I have right now.
I’ve put some extra work into leveling my Marauder, working towards unlocking Warrior eventually. I’m still not super keen on tanking dungeons, so the fact that Vix is working on leveling Conjurer for the cross class skill through FATES/leves works great for me. In the meantime, I’ve been slowly pushing my Dragoon on Zuri upwards using leveling roulettes. While Dragoon wasn’t a goal for me, I have so much Void Ark gear waiting for the job once it reaches 60 that I will probably make it a goal next month.
The only thing I’ve been lagging on is working on my crafting classes. I just haven’t been in the mood to mess with crafting at all. While I won’t say it won’t get done (since there’s still plenty of time left this month), I’m also not going to push too hard to finish crafting goals. I’m just feeling too meh about them, and could be spending my time other places instead.
…Like running more FATES!
