Steam Next Fest

While I’ve been aware of the Steam Next Fest, in which many upcoming games are showcased through free downloadable demos, I’ve never taken the opportunity to explore games through it. I think it’s a fabulous idea, however, and this time around, I’m taking advantage of it.

This is mostly because a game that’s on my wishlist - Horse Shelter 2022 – has provided a pretty beefy-sized demo for download. Yes, I have strange tastes. Yes, these titles are all over the place. But I think that’s part of the point to this kind of festival.

Have you downloaded demos from this or previous Next Fests? Does this kind of preview system help determine where your gaming funds go in the future?
