Blaugust 2022 is on the Horizon!

August is almost here and that means it’s time for Blaugust to roll around once more. In fact, you can read all about it in Bel’s newest post right here!
If you’re new to blogging and want to learn how to get started, you’re welcome here! If you have a blog you haven’t written for in a while, you’re welcome here. If you’ve been around the block and blog regularly, you’re also welcome here!
It doesn’t matter what platform you choose, either. So if you’re WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr, Pillowfort or something completely different, you’re welcome here!
Bloggers of every stripe can participate – we’d love to meet you. While joining the Discord is not mandatory, it’s a good way to connect with fellow bloggers and mentors who are ready to help give advice and feedback if you need it!
This year, not only do we have a number of awards based on participation – note - you do not have to blog every single day to “win” at Blaugust – but there are also achievements to unlock based on what activities you do.
You’ll find a calendar of topic weeks on the main post – this is optional, but helpful if you’re looking for something to write about. And if you really need it, there’s a prompt list for additional backup!
I have a LOT of posts I’ve been stashing away for Blaugust, specifically about what it took to move from WordPress to my own HTML static blog. So as long as nothing comes up, I’m ready to roll this year!
