Find Free Ebooks on Reddit

It’s halfway through Blaugust 2023 – congrats to all who are still writing! Keep it going!
In honor of making it to this milestone, I decided to write a shorter post today. This is mostly because it’s something I want to get out there, but there’s not a ton to actually say about it.
So, here’s the breakdown:
If you like free ebooks (including Amazon kindle books), there is a Reddit you should keep your eye on.
Every day, I check the r/FreeEBOOKS subreddit to see what’s new for Amazon kindle. There are other types of ebooks on there, but I rarely look at anything that’s not on kindle as that’s just where my ebook collection sits.
Somedays, there’s nothing much of interest. Somedays, you find classic literature or books by lesser known authors that have good ratings. Some days, you find mostly indy authors self-publishing with few or no ratings at all.
You do have to take time to sort through and see what you’re interested in, but the free books are out there. I’ve been pleased by some that I found, and others were just a quick read that I removed from my library after.
Free is free, though, so I thought I’d share as you can never tell who might be interested!
