Mastodon Timeline Feed Widget

This might not be useful for folks who have WordPress.com or Blogger blogs, but for those who have their own web host for files, or code HTML websites, I thought I’d share. I love my Mastodon account, but I struggled to find a widget that I could put in my blog’s sidebar, where I once had a Twitter widget.
There was once a site that hosted a Mastodon widget, but the service went defunct. So, when I discovered the Mastodon Timeline Feed Widget – run by HTML, CSS, and JS files on your own web host – I knew that was the way to go.
As the widget page itself says:
Displays Mastodon timeline with toots embed in your website. Very easy to setup, no dependencies, no trackers, WCAG compliant and fully responsive.
You do have to hop in the file to make modifications in order for it to pull info from your Mastodon account, but the download page tells you all you need to know to do this.
It’s even had a few updates and improvements since I started using it months ago. If you have the means of running this script on your own server, I highly recommend it! You can check it out in my right-hand sidebar.
