Second Life: Halloween 2023 Adventures

This is the time of year that I tend to return to Second Life and be the most active. The holidays are usually much fun in the virtual world, as you can just explore, shop and see all the creative decorations.

Each year, the Bellisseria neighborhoods have an official Linden trick-or-treat event, where houses put a jack-o-lantern on the front porch and folks stop by to click it, essentially earning “candy.” Or rather, a point on the candy HUD. You can cash the points in for prizes, but I’ve never done that in past years. I’m more interested in just hopping around from house to house (there’s a user-created spreadsheet to help everyone know where to find them).

While there is also a huge list of fantastically haunted locations to visit, Xaa and I have been splitting our time between the shop-n-hop and the trick-or-treating. I picked up some free stuff, which you can see my avatar wearing below.
